according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and the Palestinian Information Center, in an unprecedented response to ongoing Israeli crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, 41 Members of the European Parliament officially called on Tuesday for suspending trade relations and halting the implementation of the EU-Israel association agreement. This demand responds to Israel’s persistent disregard for international law amid continued warfare and genocide in Gaza.

Referencing over 60 thousand Palestinian deaths in Gaza so far they wrote: “Humanitarian aid has become a weapon for collective starvation while Israeli crimes are turning into official state policy.”
The letter demands an immediate ceasefire in Gaza; release of all prisoners; suspension of the association agreement with Israel under article 2; full restoration of UNRWA’s role; wide-ranging sanctions against Israeli settlers including revoking dual citizenships; travel bans; and asset freezes.
They further emphasized that a two-state solution remains the only lasting path to ending conflict-a position also backed by Saudi Arabia, france and nineteen other countries at a recent United Nations conference.
the MEPs warned that “we face an organized campaign aimed at destroying the Palestinian people” ranging from famine tactics and bombings in Gaza to systematic harassment and land confiscation in the West Bank.
