Massive Forest Fire Erupts in Southern France

According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Nashra, a forest fire broke out in southern France, injuring nine people.
The fire began last night and rapidly spread. By early Wednesday morning, it had consumed thousands of hectares of lush forest land and damaged several homes within hours.
Local officials confirmed that nine people were injured, with one in critical condition.
Authorities also warned that the fire threatened to reach a coastal highway connecting France to Spain along the Mediterranean Sea.
Officials closed the road between Perpignan and Narbonne as a precaution. They evacuated two campsites in the tourist city of La Palme, removing nearly 500 tourists from the area.
