Tel Aviv Signs Largest Gas Deal with an Arab Country!
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing reports from Al Masirah via Mehr News Agency, media sources indicate that the largest gas export contract from the occupied territories has been signed with Egypt for $35 billion.
The agreement entails Israel exporting a total of 130 billion cubic meters of gas to Egypt by 2040.
The first phase is set to begin next year, with an initial export of 20 billion cubic meters of gas.
Previously, a gas deal between Egypt and Israel was signed in 2019 for exports totaling 60 billion cubic meters.
Yesterday, Israeli media revealed that normalization Arab countries have exported goods worth $116.4 million to Israel, including $8.16 million in food products.
Israeli sources reported that Egypt leads among Arab exporters of food products to Israel with $3.8 million in exports.
