Turkish Foreign Minister Visits Syria for Meeting with Al-Nusra Leader Julani
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu and Mehr News Agency, Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will travel to Damascus today.
During this visit,he is scheduled to meet with Abu Mohammed al-Julani,the leader of the terrorist group governing Syria.
Earlier, in a televised interview, Fidan stated that Ankara has been monitoring movements across northern, southern, eastern, and western Syria following clashes between tribal groups and Druze in suwayda province.
Fidan emphasized: “The Syrian issue is critical for Turkey’s national security. We have consistently observed that certain parties might exploit Syria’s fragmentation and instability. They want Syria to remain trapped in despair and hopelessness. Israel shares this objective.Netanyahu has clearly expressed his negative view regarding stability in Syria.”
