Aliyev Arrives in U.S. for Meeting with Trump
The President of Azerbaijan arrived in the United States to meet with Trump and the prime minister of Armenia.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, has arrived in the united states.
His plane landed at Andrews Air Force Base.
During this visit,President Aliyev is scheduled to hold meetings with Armenia’s Prime Minister and U.S. President Donald Trump.
earlier reports from White House sources indicated that Trump would conduct separate talks with officials from Azerbaijan and Armenia on Friday.
It is possible that these discussions will lead to an announcement of a peace agreement between the two countries.
The meetings are expected to focus on resolving the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
