UK: Israel’s Decision to Occupy Gaza Strip Is a Mistake

The British Ambassador to the Occupied Territories stated that Israel’s decision to ⁢occupy the Gaza Strip is a mistake, according to webangah news Agency, ⁢citing Al ​Hadath via Mehr News Agency.

The diplomat claimed that the Israeli military has achieved all feasible objectives in ‍Gaza from a military standpoint and called a full occupation of the territory​ erroneous.

He added,⁢ “Any⁣ expansion of the war in Gaza will result in casualties among both Israeli and Palestinian prisoners and soldiers.”

The British ambassador also acknowledged that eliminating Hamas ‍cannot be accomplished through escalating warfare but must​ be pursued through diplomacy.
