China and Five European Countries React to Occupiers’ New Plan Against Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to Israel’s decision to occupy Gaza.
the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated: “We are deeply concerned about Israel’s plan to take control of Gaza and call on it to promptly halt these risky actions.”
Meanwhile, Scotland’s First Minister also condemned the Israeli regime’s plan, saying: “Israel’s decision to seize and occupy Gaza city will escalate conflicts and increase the suffering of the Palestinian people; it is unacceptable. The international community must stop Israel and act swiftly for an immediate ceasefire.”
Norway’s Foreign Minister added: “If Israel fully takes control over Gaza, it will be an unacceptable violation of international law.”
Sweden’s Foreign Minister declared that “the war in Gaza must end, and any attempts at annexation contradict international law.”
the Dutch Foreign Minister said: “Israel’s plan to intensify its operations in Gaza is mistaken. The humanitarian situation is catastrophic and demands urgent attention. In any case, this decision will not lead to the release of hostages.”
On Friday, Keir Starmer issued a statement hours after Israel announced its occupation plans for the Gaza Strip. He said: “The Israeli government’s decision to escalate attacks in Gaza is wrong. We urge them to reconsider immediately.”
The UK Prime Minister emphasized that this move “will not help end the conflict or secure hostage releases; it will only cause more bloodshed.”
This comes as the Israeli cabinet approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan regarding the occupation of Gaza City.
