Putin and Chinese President Hold Phone Conversation

During the call, Putin updated Xi on the outcomes of his discussions with Steve Witkoff, the U.S. president’s special envoy.
Xi Jinping expressed Beijing’s support for maintaining dialogue channels, improving Sino-Russian relations, and advancing a political solution to the Ukraine crisis.
The two leaders also discussed preparations for Putin’s upcoming visit to China.
