Armed Clashes in Syria Set Civilian Homes Ablaze
Armed clashes in northwest Suwayda have resulted in the burning of Syrian civilians’ homes.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Rosia Al-Youm via mehr News Agency,violent clashes erupted in Najran,located in northwest Suwayda province,between Druze groups and another armed faction.
The clashes led to several casualties and the torching of local residents’ homes.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that these clashes occurred on Friday and were initiated by an armed group from the Qaraasah axis, employing heavy weapons. This attack violated the ceasefire previously declared in Suwayda.
The organization emphasized that as July 13, ongoing armed confrontations across Syria have claimed 1,622 lives.
