Iraqi Hezbollah: America Is Unhappy with Our Fight Against Terrorism
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Rosia Al-Youm via mehr News Agency, Kata’ib hezbollah issued a statement on Sunday rejecting the findings of investigations into clashes at al-Doura, south of Baghdad, and denying all allegations leveled against the group.
The statement emphasized that Kata’ib Hezbollah has stood as a strong barrier defending Iraq’s sovereignty and dignity since the U.S. occupation.Their sacrifices continued through their fight against ISIS, resulting in over four thousand martyrs and wounded members within their ranks.
It added that these very efforts have angered the American adversaries. Over recent years, the enemy has launched accusations aimed at tarnishing the reputation of Iraqi forces. Remarks by the British ambassador yesterday and current antagonistic plots are reportedly being executed through certain Iraqi factions under domestic pressure. The latest example is interference with the committee investigating last month’s incident in Baghdad.Kata’ib Hezbollah stressed it will never waver from its demand for U.S. forces to leave Iraq.
Simultaneously occurring, a spokesperson for Iraq’s Commander-in-Chief claimed yesterday that examination results indicate Kata’ib Hezbollah initiated clashes in al-Doura on July 27.
