Israeli Defense Minister Issues Position on West Bank

According⁤ to the English section of webangah News Agency,​ citing Sputnik via Mehr News Agency, Israeli Defense ⁤Minister Yisrael⁤ Katz stated that israeli⁢ forces will remain in the West Bank at least until the end of​ this year.

On⁣ Sunday, he confirmed that Israeli troops will continue their ⁤presence in​ Palestinian refugee camps in the northern West Bank ‌through​ year’s⁣ end.

Katz claimed that the Jenin,‍ Tulkarm, and⁣ Nur Shams camps serve as terrorist hubs supported financially and militarily by‌ Iran.

The Defense Minister acknowledged killings and infrastructure destruction in the West​ Bank and declared that army operations within these ‍camps remain under his ⁤direct orders until further notice.
