100,000 Rally in Istanbul to Support Gaza
A solidarity march for Gaza under the slogan “Be a Light of Hope for Gaza” drew over 100,000 participants in Istanbul.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu Agency via Mehr News Agency, last night a presentation supporting Gaza was held in Istanbul with more than 100,000 people attending under the slogan “Be a Light of Hope for Gaza.”
The protesters marched from Bayezid Square to the Hagia Sophia Mosque.
Mohammad Guni, rotating chair of the Palestine Support Campaign, addressed the crowd during the march.
The event concluded with prayers led by Ali Erbaş, Turkey’s Director of Religious Affairs.
