Jordan Hosts Tripartite Meeting
Jordan’s Foreign Ministry announced that Jordan will host a joint meeting with Syria and the United States this Tuesday.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Arabiya, Jordan’s Foreign Ministry stated today, Sunday, that it will host a tripartite meeting involving Jordan, Syria, and the US on Tuesday.
The meeting will focus on the situation in Syria and ways to support its reconstruction.
The ministry confirmed that Asaad Al-Sheibani, Foreign Minister of Syria’s Interim Government; Thomas Barrett, US Special envoy for Syria and Ambassador to Turkey; alongside representatives from relevant institutions in Jordan, Syria, and the United States will attend.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi is also expected to hold bilateral talks with Al-Sheibani and Barrett during the session.
