According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik via Mehr News Agency, hundreds of Tunisian citizens gathered Monday night in front of the City Theater on Habib Bourguiba street in Tunis. they protested against the ongoing war in Gaza and the starvation policy imposed on its people.
Local sources reported that this exhibition was organized by a group called “Joint Action Coordination for Palestine.” Participants chanted slogans demanding an immediate end to the fighting in Gaza.
The protesters described Israel’s recent attack on Al Jazeera’s news team in Gaza as a “intentional crime aimed at silencing truth and concealing more than 22 months of atrocities against besieged Palestinians.”
They emphasized that Israel’s decision, approved by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, to launch an assault on Gaza is not a routine military operation but rather a prelude to “new and broader massacres against Gazan civilians.”
The demonstrators also warned that targeting journalists is an attempt at media censorship designed to facilitate larger-scale crimes soon.
A group of citizens in Morocco also took to streets protesting against Israeli crimes committed in Gaza.
In Europe, protests erupted as well. dozens gathered in Stockholm, Sweden, carrying placards condemning Israeli crimes against innocent Gazans, their deliberate starvation strategy, and attacks on journalists.
