24 Foreign Ministers and EU Commissioners Issue Statement on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, the foreign ministers of 24 countries together with European Union commissioners released a joint statement today, Tuesday, emphasizing that human suffering in Gaza has reached unprecedented levels.
The statement calls for immediate and sustained steps to ensure safe and broad access to gaza for United Nations agencies. It stresses that aid distribution centers in Gaza must not be targeted and condemns any attacks on civilians, aid workers, and medical personnel.
The declaration further urges Israel to allow all humanitarian aid trucks into Gaza. It also expresses gratitude towards the United States, Qatar, and Egypt for their efforts toward achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
