Key Points of Erdogan’s Talks with Ukraine President
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, on Tuesday.
The call focused on bilateral relations between Ankara and Kyiv as well as meaningful regional and international matters.
Hürriyet reported that President Erdoğan expressed recognition for progress made during direct talks between Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul.He expressed hope that future rounds would yield meaningful results toward a ceasefire, paving the way for lasting peace.
Erdoğan added that Turkey is ready to host a high-level summit between Russian and Ukrainian leaders.
He emphasized Ankara’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
