White House: Trump and Putin to Meet Friday in Anchorage
The White House spokesperson announced a meeting between the presidents of Russia and the United states in Anchorage, Alaska, on Friday.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Reuters via Mehr News Agency, White House spokesperson Caroline leavitt stated Tuesday that a meeting between Presidents Putin and Trump will take place on August 15 in Anchorage, Alaska.
Al Jazeera reports that Leavitt added President Trump hopes to hold a trilateral summit with ukraine and Russia to end the war. Trump is committed to resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and the governance remains engaged with President Zelenskyy and European partners.
Leavitt also said President Trump may visit Russia in the future.
