Yair Golan: Netanyahu Prioritizes Maintaining Support Over Israel’s Security
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, Yair Golan, head of the Israeli regime’s Democrats and a critic of the current far-right government, said Netanyahu prioritizes securing personal loyalty over Israel’s security.
He added that Netanyahu seeks a Chief of Staff for the army who would undermine Tel Aviv’s security, execute his ill-conceived plans, and be complicit in collective evasion of responsibility.
This Israeli official emphasized that Netanyahu, along with Ben Gvir and Smotrich, is leading Israeli troops into deadly Hamas ambushes in Gaza.
Golan expressed support for Eyal Zamir, the current Chief of Staff of the Israeli regime’s army. He stated: “Anyone who harms the Chief of Staff harms Israel’s security. Decades of courageous service by the Chief cannot be sacrificed for Netanyahu’s whims or those of his family and allies.”
