The report states that light weapons, machine guns, and RPGs were used throughout the confrontation.
Simultaneously with these incidents, ambulances were deployed near the area to prepare for any potential casualties.
The official television affiliated with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham confirmed the clashes but did not provide further details.
On July 3,Syrian sources reported a similar conflict in which SDF forces used rocket launchers and artillery against government troops in Al-Kiyariyah village on Manbij’s outskirts in eastern Syria. They claimed seven people were wounded during that incident.
The SDF media center responded by stating that its forces exercised their right to self-defense following attacks on areas under their control in Deir Hafir.
The center also dismissed claims from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s Ministry of Defense alleging an SDF attack on their positions as “baseless.”
