Secret US-Sudan Security Meeting Held in Switzerland
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Al Mayadeen network reported based on its private sources that a confidential security negotiation took place last Monday between US and Sudanese delegations in Switzerland. The Sudanese delegation was led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, head of the sudanese Sovereignty Council, while the American side was headed by Masad Bolus, a Trump envoy.
The report states that al-Burhan presented a security dossier containing documents detailing the involvement of regional and international countries in equipping, financing, and training Rapid Support Forces fighters.
The dossier also revealed that some countries have allowed their airports to be used for transferring weapons and providing assistance to these forces.
According to Al Mayadeen’s sources, al-Burhan exposed the role of eight regional and international nations in fueling Sudan’s war driven by greed for exploiting its resources. He emphasized that this conflict represents a “regional offensive aimed at partitioning Sudan.”
The sources added that the US delegation included senior security advisors from America’s intelligence community. Both sides underscored the importance of ongoing security cooperation between Washington and Khartoum.
