Secret US-Sudan Security Meeting Held in Switzerland

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Al Mayadeen network reported based on its private sources that a confidential security negotiation took place last Monday between US and Sudanese delegations ⁣in Switzerland. The Sudanese delegation was led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, head of the sudanese Sovereignty Council, ⁢while ‌the ⁤American side was headed​ by Masad Bolus, a Trump envoy.

The⁤ report⁤ states that al-Burhan presented ⁤a security ‍dossier containing documents‍ detailing the involvement of regional and⁣ international countries in equipping, financing, and training⁣ Rapid‍ Support Forces‍ fighters.

The dossier ⁢also revealed that some countries have allowed their airports to be used for transferring weapons‍ and​ providing assistance to these forces.

According to ‍Al Mayadeen’s sources, al-Burhan exposed the ⁣role of eight regional and international nations in fueling ⁣Sudan’s war driven by greed for exploiting its resources. He ‌emphasized that this conflict ‍represents ‍a “regional offensive aimed⁢ at ‌partitioning Sudan.”

The sources added that the US‍ delegation included senior security advisors ⁢from America’s intelligence⁤ community. Both sides underscored the importance of ongoing security ⁣cooperation between​ Washington and Khartoum.
