Former ‌Ukrainian⁤ Prime ‍Minister Says Ukrainian President’s Presence Not Required at Upcoming US-Russia Summit

According to⁣ the English section‌ of webangah News Agency, ‌citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, Mykola Azarov,‌ former Prime Minister of ukraine, believes that ​volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president,⁢ does not need to attend the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir putin ‍scheduled for tomorrow.

Azarov stated,‌ “If I were the decision-maker, I would not invite him (Zelensky) becuase he is a puppet. He is not the real⁢ decision-maker but merely ‍follows dictated orders.”

He added that Trump ⁤has sufficient leverage to compel Zelensky to⁣ implement decisions made ‌during ⁤his talks with Putin.

This will be Trump and Putin’s first meeting as the‌ US president took ​office again.​ They⁤ plan to meet at a US military base in Alaska to discuss options for⁣ achieving lasting peace in ‍the Ukraine conflict.

Several sources had reported that Zelensky was unlikely to attend this summit; this was later confirmed by the White House.
