Israeli Officials Worry About Consequences of Gaza War Continuing
A recent survey reveals that the majority of Israelis are concerned about the consequences of the ongoing war in Gaza.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, a new poll published by the Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv shows that a large portion of Israelis worry about the impact of continuing the war in Gaza.
The survey found that 69 percent of Israelis fear that prolonged conflict will weaken social cohesion within Israel.
Additionally, 66 percent said they believe the continuation of fighting threatens their personal and family economic conditions.
Furthermore, 63 percent expressed concern that security threats might target them either inside or outside the occupied territories.
