Israeli Officials Worry About Consequences of Gaza War Continuing

According to the English section of webangah ‌News Agency, citing⁣ Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, a new poll published by the Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv shows that a large portion of Israelis worry about the impact of continuing the war in Gaza.

The survey found that 69 percent of Israelis fear that prolonged conflict will weaken ⁣social cohesion within Israel.

Additionally, 66 percent said they believe the continuation‍ of fighting threatens their personal and family economic conditions.

Furthermore, 63 percent expressed concern ⁢that security threats might target them either inside or outside the occupied territories.
