Yemen’s Million-Person March Condemns Zionist Actions by Egypt and Saudi Arabia
The Yemeni nation held a million-strong march today, once again expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and Gaza. The rally took place, as in previous weeks, at Sab’een Square in Sana’a, Yemen’s capital, as well as in other cities across the country.According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah News Network, participants reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to resistance against malicious enemy conspiracies and emphasized their unwavering support for Gaza,Palestine,Islamic holy sites, and the resistance movement.
The final statement from the rally declared that Yemenis-and indeed all Muslims and humanity-must recognize Israeli regime actions as criminal. It called for urgent efforts to disarm Israel, which poses a threat to all peoples in the region as well as global peace and stability.
Protesters demanded strengthening resistance weaponry in Lebanon and Palestine-seen today as a crucial barrier against Israel’s brutal campaign of genocide.
The statement warned that negligence regarding support for resistance weaponry would result in heavy costs and immeasurable damage to both Muslim nations and the wider international community.
Yemenis also vehemently condemned israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent expressions of grandiose Zionist ambitions aimed at establishing a “Greater Israel.” They pledged full opposition to this dangerous project using every available means. The Yemeni people recognize it threatens not only Islamic nations but also sacred sites and Yemen itself.
The statement harshly criticized some regional regimes for providing aid and services to Israel-such as sending weapon-laden ships-and signing economic agreements with it. It strongly denounced any submission to Israeli arrogance or passivity toward its threats against peoples and organizations.
Just days ago, Egypt signed a $35 billion agreement tripling its gas imports from Israel. This deal marked Israel’s largest-ever gas export contract by increasing Cairo’s energy dependence on tel Aviv significantly.
A few days earlier in Italy’s genoa port, workers blocked passage of a Saudi ship carrying military weapons destined for Israel. The vessel had been en route from America loaded with arms supply when port staff identified its cargo was intended for Tel Aviv forces.
According to reports, around 40 Genoa dockworkers boarded the Saudi ship’s deck directly then surrounded it effectively halting its transit operations.
