Trump and Putin Meet in Alaska-Watch Video
according to Mehr news Agency citing Al Jazeera, U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met at an airport in Alaska.
The report states that the two presidents shook hands and then left the airport in the same vehicle they had arrived in to prepare for their scheduled meeting.
Russian media released images moments earlier showing vladimir putin’s plane arriving at the Alaskan airport for his meeting with Donald Trump.
American media also confirmed that Trump’s plane had landed in Alaska shortly before.
Their discussion on resolving the Ukraine conflict, which some analysts have called “historic,” is set to begin at 2 p.m. EST (11 p.m. Tehran time).
A Kremlin spokesperson said the talks are expected to last six to seven hours.
