Spain Calls for Suspension of All Treaties with Israel

According to⁤ the English section of ⁣ webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News⁤ Agency and Al Jazeera, Spain’s Deputy Prime Minister ⁣stated that cooperating with⁣ Israeli companies amounts to supporting an economy founded on genocide.

He added‌ that all treaties with Israel should be suspended and the European Union‌ must halt arms purchases from the country.

Last week, Spain’s ⁣Foreign Minister urged the European Union⁢ to take immediate action to prevent Israel’s new wave⁢ of violence in gaza.

José Manuel Albares further said, “We ⁣cannot remain idle ⁤and silent in ⁢the face of escalating Israeli military ​occupation and famine.”

The Spanish Foreign Minister emphasized that it is indeed time for⁤ the European ​Union to act like Spain and officially recognise the state of Palestine.
