Syrian War Machine Redeployed on Syrian Coast

After completing its attacks against the Israeli regime, the Jolani ‌faction in Syria has redeployed ‍its war machinery to suppress Alawites along‌ the⁣ country’s western coast.

The English section⁣ of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that Al-Mayadeen News, referencing the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, stated that Abu Muhammad al-Jolani’s terrorist regime has moved⁢ its suppression ⁢forces once again toward Syria’s western coast and the port city of Tartus.

The report highlighted that extensive military equipment ⁤has been transferred by the syrian Ministry of Defense to coastal ⁢regions in western Syria.

As ⁢an inevitable result, a new wave‌ of killings and repression targeting Alawite civilians in these‌ areas is not unlikely.

Following Bashar al-Assad’s‌ fall and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham’s takeover of⁤ Syria, extremist groups such as ISIS and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham launched organized attacks accusing⁣ Alawites of apostasy. These assaults⁤ included field executions, destruction of sacred sites, and massacres of civilians. Official‍ figures state that over 1,500 Alawites were killed ⁣during clashes in March 2025; many victims were women and children.Unofficial estimates suggest much ‌higher casualties along Syria’s western coast. These ⁤violent acts have triggered waves‍ of Alawite migration‌ from the area.
