Hezbollah Representative in Lebanese Parliament: Israel Only Understands the Language of Force
Rami Abu Hamdan, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in Lebanon’s Parliament, told webangah News agency, citing al-Masirah via Mehr News Agency, that all ongoing disputes in Lebanon and among its sects stem from Israeli and American adversaries.
He added that successive governments have failed to provide adequate support to people in southern Lebanon against Israeli attacks.
Abu Hamdan emphasized, “We have come to believe and experience that the Israeli enemy understands only the language of force.”
He further stated that aside from the Islamic Republic of Iran, no one stood with them against Israeli assaults.
Abu Hamdan said Washington’s aim is for the Lebanese army not to possess weapons capable of threatening Israel. He affirmed that Lebanon’s resistance was established on national, legal, and ethical grounds.
Continuing, he referenced Iran’s support as well as backing from Syria’s former regime for Lebanon’s resistance movement. He described Syria as a vital logistical corridor for the resistance.
It is worth noting that Lebanon recently adopted an American-backed decision targeting resistance weapons, wich provoked a strong response from Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
