Macron: Continuing Support for Ukraine and Pressure on Russia Is Essential

According to the English section of webangah⁣ News ⁢Agency,citing mehr News agency and Al Jazeera,French President​ Emmanuel Macron stated today,Saturday,that continued support​ for‍ Ukraine and ‌pressure on ⁤Russia⁣ are essential provided that its aggressive⁤ war persists.

Macron added that close cooperation with the presidents of the United States and ‌Ukraine, Donald Trump and volodymyr Zelensky respectively, will continue to ensure their interests ‍are ‍protected. He also warned about Russia’s failure to uphold its commitments regarding Ukraine.

Yesterday, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump met at a US military base in Alaska for discussions.

The meeting lasted ⁢over three hours and ‌involved several stages: a private session​ inside the limousine nicknamed “The beast,”⁣ which transported the US president to the main⁣ negotiation venue, followed by a ⁤small group meeting with three participants.
