«Enthusiasts Coalition» Meets Ahead of Zelensky’s Meeting with Trump
The English section of webangah News Agency quoted Mehr News Agency citing Agence France-Presse, reporting that the French presidential office announced on Saturday that the leaders of Britain, France, and Germany will hold a virtual summit on sunday as part of the “Enthusiasts Coalition” to discuss peace initiatives in Ukraine.
The Élysée Palace stated that this meeting-jointly coordinated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz-will take place one day before Ukrainian President Volodymyr zelensky’s visit to Washington for talks with U.S. President Joe Biden.
This virtual discussion follows Friday’s meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
