Denmark: Netanyahu Has Become a Problem; Catastrophic Situation in Gaza
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen saeid today that Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Israeli occupiers, “is a problem in himself,” according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency.
She emphasized her intention to use Denmark’s upcoming presidency of the European Union to increase pressure on the Israeli occupation forces.
In an interview with Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten,Frederiksen stated,”Netanyahu himself has become a problem,” adding that his cabinet has “overstepped its limits.”
The Danish prime minister expressed regret over the “horrific and completely catastrophic” humanitarian situation in Gaza. She also condemned plans by settlers in Jerusalem to construct new housing units in the West Bank.
frederiksen added: “We are among those countries seeking to increase pressure on Israel but have yet to receive support from other EU members.”
