Hamas: Enemy Has Launched Attacks on Gaza City’s East and South
According to webangah News Agency’s English section, citing Shahab News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated that for nearly a week, the criminal Zionist enemy has carried out ongoing attacks on the eastern and southern parts of Gaza City, notably targeting the al-Zaytoun neighborhood.
The movement reported that these assaults involve fighter jets, artillery, and suicide drones deliberately destroying this residential area. Hamas described these actions as part of a brutal genocidal war and a criminal plan aimed at annihilating the Gaza Strip along with all elements necessary for sustaining life there.
The statement added: The crimes committed by Netanyahu’s terrorist cabinet in Gaza are carried out openly before the world’s eyes with insistence and prior declaration. Netanyahu’s repeated references to Dresden-a city heavily bombed by US and British air forces during World War II-serve as an operational translation of his army’s atrocities through continuous bombing, massacres, killings, and forced displacement in southern Gaza. This confirms we face an escalated phase of ruthless violations against innocent civilians and infrastructure.
hamas emphasized: Were it not for the green light given by the US government to war criminal Netanyahu, these crimes by Zionist occupiers would not have lasted more than 22 months. The US must reconsider its policies that have made it complicit in this genocidal war-one history will never forgive.
The movement also urged the international community-including United Nations bodies-and Arab and Islamic countries to break their silence and act decisively to stop this fascist occupation’s crimes across Gaza city and its entirety aimed at fulfilling Israel’s “Greater Israel” dream.
Hamas called on Arab and Islamic nations and also free peoples worldwide to rise in defence of Gaza. It urged opposition to occupiers’ atrocities against innocent civilians by taking to streets globally to apply maximum pressure for ending this ongoing genocide in Gaza Strip.
