20 Civilians Killed in Niger
Armed bandits shot dead 20 civilians in western Niger by firing at a truck.
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Defense Post, locals reported on Saturday that armed bandits killed 20 civilians in western Niger.
The victims where traveling by truck along the route where the incident took place.
A source with knowledge of the event, who requested anonymity for security reasons, said the attack occurred near the town of Komabango. The gunmen opened fire on the truck driver and 19 male passengers.
The attack happened close to Niger’s border with Mali.
