UNRWA: US-Zionist Aid Distribution in Gaza Intensifies Death Toll
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that a key cause of hunger in Gaza is the replacement of the UN’s aid distribution system with a U.S.-israeli institution driven by political motives, according to a report by webangah News Agency quoting al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency.
The statement emphasized that this American-Zionist aid structure in Gaza follows an inhumane approach, causing chaos and fatalities across the area.
UNRWA called for restoring the coordinated and transparent humanitarian aid framework previously managed by the United Nations based on international law and humanitarian principles to improve conditions in Gaza.
Meanwhile,Nasser Hospital Complex in Gaza reported that six people were killed while waiting for food during an attack by Israeli forces on the Mourag area in southern Gaza Strip. Several others sustained injuries. Additional hospital sources confirmed that three more people died today while queuing for assistance, bringing total fatalities to nine.
