Haaretz: 2.5 Million Israelis Protest Against Netanyahu in Streets
A Hebrew-language newspaper acknowledged the widespread participation of Israelis in yesterday’s nationwide protests against Netanyahu.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah, the Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz reported that organizers estimated more than 2.5 million israelis took part in yesterday’s demonstrations across the occupied territories.
The report stated that the nationwide protests were held against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and expressed opposition to the ongoing Gaza war.
It further noted that approximately 300,000 people participated last night in a exhibition in Tel Aviv. This was the largest protest in tel Aviv since six Israeli detainees were killed over the past year.
