Severe Rainstorm in Northern China Leaves 6 Dead and Missing
Heavy rainfall and flooding in northern China have caused three deaths and left three others missing.
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Xinhua, severe rainstorms and floods in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of northern China have resulted in three fatalities and three individuals reported missing.
The downpours began yesterday, impacting several districts in the city of Ordos.
On Saturday, floods triggered by intense rainfall claimed at least eight lives and left four people missing in Bayannur city, also located within Inner Mongolia.
Earlier this month, heavy rains and flooding in Gansu province in northwest China caused at least 22 deaths with more than 20 people unaccounted for.
Severe rainfall in Beijing late last month led to at least 30 fatalities.
