Tel Aviv Embassy Reopens in an African Country
The Israeli Foreign Minister will reopen the regime’s embassy in Zambia during his visit to Africa.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Russia Today, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar is scheduled to travel to Africa today to reopen Israel’s embassy in Zambia.
During his visit,Sa’ar will meet with Zambia’s president,foreign minister,and speaker of parliament.
He will also hold his fourth meeting with Ethiopia’s foreign minister in Addis Ababa.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry stated that Israel maintained an embassy in Zambia during the 1960s and 1970s but closed it as part of a policy to reduce diplomatic missions across Africa.
Zambia has maintained its own embassy in the occupied territories since 2015.
