How Many Children Are Dying Daily in Gaza?

According ​to webangah⁤ News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency⁢ and Al Jazeera, the spokesperson for the Relief and⁢ Works Agency ⁣for Palestinian Refugees ⁢(UNRWA)‍ stated that⁢ 28 children die daily in Gaza, making them the ​group most severely affected ​by‍ war and famine.

The spokesperson added that Israel uses hunger as a tool of pressure during its negotiations with‌ resistance groups.

UNRWA’s spokesperson emphasized that Israeli threats to occupy Gaza would result in thousands​ more casualties and worsen​ the humanitarian crisis in ⁢the enclave.

He also said that without UNRWA, effective ⁢distribution of aid‍ in Gaza would⁣ not be possible.

On Tuesday, ⁤the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza issued ⁣a statement updating casualty figures from Israeli⁣ military attacks since October 7, 2023.

The ministry reported that 62,064 people have been killed as a result of Israeli strikes on Gaza since October 7, ⁢2023.

It also stated that⁤ total⁣ injuries ⁢from these ‌attacks have reached 156,573 individuals since the start of hostilities in the enclave.

The ministry further announced that ​within⁤ the past 24‍ hours alone, bodies of 60 martyrs ⁤were delivered to hospitals while‍ 343 people were wounded during this period.

Additionally, since ⁤March 18, ‍2025-amid a ‍new wave of assaults on Gaza-there have been 10,518 fatalities and 44,532⁣ injuries reported.
