Macron: Israel’s Attack on Gaza Will Trigger Permanent War in the Region
French President warns that Israel’s planned attack on Gaza would be catastrophic and plunge the region into continuous war.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that Israel’s planned attack on Gaza would result in a real catastrophe for both sides and drag the region into a cycle of ongoing conflict.
Macron added that the only operation capable of ending the war is establishing a permanent ceasefire in Gaza along with releasing all prisoners.
These remarks come as Spain’s Foreign Minister recently told Al Jazeera that occupying Gaza is not a path to peace, describing current events in the enclave as violations of international law. He called for an immediate ceasefire.
