Moscow Responds Swiftly to London; Russia Sanctions 21 British and Western Nationals
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Apa News Agency, Russia on Wednesday prohibited 21 british nationals-comprising media representatives, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and professional experts-from entering Moscow as a response to recent UK sanctions.
The list was published on the website of the Russian diplomatic mission.
The Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a communiqué: “In response to London’s ongoing confrontational approach-which includes attempts to portray our country unfavorably,active fabrication of anti-Russian narratives aimed at reducing Moscow’s influence internationally,and increased weapons supplies to the neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv-we have decided to include several media figures,NGOs,advisory bodies,and members of Britain’s expert community on Russia’s sanctions list.”
