Head of Popular Mobilization Forces: Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Assisted Us in Defending Iraq

According to the English section​ of webangah News agency,citing Mehr ‌News Agency ⁢and Qatar’s Al​ Jazeera network,Falih Al-Fayyadh stated that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps ⁣has​ assisted⁣ them in‍ defending ⁣Iraq.

The head of Iraq’s popular Mobilization Forces stressed ⁢that dissolving ‌this association would be a “suicidal move” and expressed hope that parliament will ‍pass the law regulating Al-Hashd.

He added, “Our relations are with the international coalition led by the government, and we hope it’s withdrawal schedule is respected.”

Al-Fayyadh also noted concerns about Syria’s security situation and ⁢said their policy follows that of the prime minister.
