Tel Aviv Security Institute: Israel Must Reassess Its Strategy
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Ma’an via Mehr News Agency, the Israeli Internal Security Research Institute admits that Tel Aviv must reconsider its strategy regarding the Gaza Strip. Prolonging the war in this area is the worst course of action.
The report states that Israel is caught in an international crisis threatening its standing due to the Gaza conflict.
The institute emphasizes that IsraelS military has become fatigued and weakened by the extended hostilities in Gaza. Occupying parts of Gaza or conducting further operations will not eliminate Hamas; instead, it will trigger a prolonged urban warfare against Tel Aviv’s forces.
The report adds that Hamas is highly likely to engage in guerrilla warfare, enabling it to evade defeat against Israel’s army.
