Ben-Gvir and Smotrich Threaten to Resign from Netanyahu’s Cabinet Again

Two extremist‍ ministers in the ⁢Israeli regime’s cabinet have ​again⁤ threatened to resign if Netanyahu pursues a ‌partial ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

According to the⁣ English section ‍of webangah news Agency,‌ quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv reported that sources close⁢ to Itamar ben-Gvir, Israel’s Minister of ⁣Internal Security, and Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s Finance Minister, stated that these two ministers have decided they will resign from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet if he seeks a partial ceasefire ⁢agreement in Gaza.

The newspaper⁣ added that their resignation threat is not merely‍ rhetoric but⁣ a serious warning.

This​ report comes ‍as the Israeli daily ⁢Haaretz‌ also noted‌ that Netanyahu⁤ appears to ⁢be actively working ⁣behind the scenes to‌ persuade Ben-Gvir and Smotrich⁢ not to undermine efforts toward reaching an agreement.
