15 Israeli Regime Army Officers Dismissed for Protesting Gaza War
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, citing Israeli sources, reported that the occupying army dismissed 15 Air Force officers several months ago for signing a petition demanding a halt to the Gaza conflict and the return of hostages.
The newspaper added that the Israeli military attempted to persuade these officers to withdraw thier signatures from the petition. After they refused,they were removed from service.
According to yedioth Ahronoth, some of these officers were slated to participate in operations against Iran but were not called up for reserve duty.
The dismissed officers filed a complaint with Israel’s Supreme Court, seeking reinstatement.
An additional 17 Air Force pilots dismissed on similar grounds joined the legal action initiated by these 15 officers.
