Druzhba Oil Pipeline Targeted by Ukrainian Drone Attacks
Russia’s oil pipeline supplying several European countries was attacked by ukrainian drones, halting oil deliveries, according to Hungary’s Foreign Minister.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced that multiple attacks took place last night on the Druzhba oil pipeline near the Belarus border. As an inevitable result, oil transportation through this pipeline has stopped.
Simultaneously occurring, Russian media reported that a pump station of the Druzhba pipeline in Russia’s Bryansk region was targeted by Ukrainian drones.
Meanwhile, Hungary and Slovakia have urged the European Union to ensure the security of oil transit through the druzhba pipeline following these attacks.
The Druzhba pipeline transports Russian oil to Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
