Hezbollah Will Not Be Weakened by Political and Military Pressure; Resistance Remains Unyielding
Mehr News Agency, International desk: The late Hezbollah Secretary-general, Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, on the sixth anniversary of the great victory of Lebanon’s resistance in the 33-day war, stated that the primary reason behind the U.S. and Zionist regime’s call for Hezbollah’s disarmament was their complete failure in their military attempts to eradicate Hezbollah.
Moshe Ya’alon, former Chief of Staff of the Israeli Occupation Army, said: “It is clear to me that Hezbollah is deeply rooted and cannot be uprooted through military operations; it is also clear there is no decisive military solution against Hezbollah’s missile system. I realized there is no way to uproot Hezbollah from the hearts of Lebanese Shia; I understood there was no way to eliminate the threat posed by Katyusha rockets. Therefore, I proposed a combined political-military effort to contain Hezbollah and limit its sphere of activity.”
In this context, Senator Allameh Naser Abbas Jafari, head of Pakistan’s Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen party, told Mehr News: “Hezbollah possesses wisdom and prudence. It will not be weakened by political or military pressure; it will neither bow nor falter but overcome all obstacles. The resistance springs from within Lebanon’s people as well as from the wider Islamic nation and freedom seekers worldwide-it cannot be uprooted. When Sayyed Abbas Mousavi was martyred, Lebanese chanted: ‘We will never bow our heads.'”
Referring to Arbaeen as a major religious gathering, he added: “The love for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) brings together people from diverse nations and sects during Arbaeen forming a great community-one endowed with insight, awareness, an understanding of its enemies-and one devoted to resistance. The Resistance Front regards Imam hussein (PBUH) as its exemplar.”
The leader of Pakistan’s Majlis Wahdat further explained that arbaeen belongs to justice seekers and freedom fighters everywhere. After Iran endured a 12-day imposed war launched by disbelief and hypocrisy against it, people grew in love for both resistance and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei (may his shadow last long). All aware Muslims and free individuals worldwide look toward the Islamic Republic of Iran. Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei serves as a leadership figure capable-during Imam Mahdi’s (may God hasten his reappearance) occultation-to guide society.”
Senator Allameh Naser concluded: “The Zionist regime alone lacks the capability to wage war against both the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon’s Hezbollah. Tel Aviv has been defeated by Iran, Hezbollah, and other resistance groups-and it will continue facing defeat.”
