The Number of Journalists Martyred in Gaza Reaches 240
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shehab News Agency, the Palestinian Government Media Office in Gaza issued a statement on Saturday evening reporting that the number of journalist martyrs has increased to 240.
The statement read: “Khaled Muhammad Aldamhoon,” who worked as a photojournalist for Palestine TV,was martyred today in an Israeli attack. We strongly condemn the deliberate targeting and assassination of Palestinian journalists by Israeli occupiers and call on the International Federation of journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all press organizations worldwide to denounce these targeted crimes against Palestinian journalists in the Gaza Strip.”
The Palestinian government Media Office in Gaza held Israeli occupiers, the United States government, and countries complicit in this genocidal crime-such as Britain, Germany, and France-fully responsible for committing these brutal atrocities.
It called on the international community,global organizations,and journalism-related bodies worldwide to condemn these crimes by the occupiers; prevent thier continuation; prosecute those responsible before international courts for ongoing offenses; and bring these criminal occupiers to justice.
The office also urged nations and international institutions to exert serious pressure to halt this genocide, support journalists working in gaza, and end their systematic targeting and assassination.
