Libyan Mufti: Global Silence on Gaza Siege Is a Historic Shame
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Yemen’s Al Masirah network via Mehr News Agency, Libya’s Grand Mufti, Sadiq al-Ghariani, strongly criticized the United States. He said: “Trump talks about peace between Ukraine and Russia but remains silent in the face of innocent civilians being killed and Israeli military crimes in gaza carried out with American fighter jets and drones.”
Addressing Arab mediator countries egypt and Qatar, Al-Ghariani stated: “If you cannot stand against the enemy’s sabotage and support the Palestinian people, resign; because continuing this ineffective role only benefits the occupiers.”
He warned that mediators who refuse to guarantee aid for people trapped under Gaza’s blockade have no role in negotiations. “This conduct is a stain of shame on you and your rulers that will never be erased from history,” he added.
Al-Ghariani also called for immediate action from the Islamic world. “It is mandatory to dispatch hundreds or thousands of ships to break the siege. it is shameful that Muslims watch the tragedies in Gaza unfold while remaining passive,” he declared.
