Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces Deploy Near Saudi Border

According to⁣ the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Maaloma, a security source in Al-Anbar province announced that checkpoints operated by Popular Mobilization Forces have ‌increased near the Arar border crossing⁤ in western Al-Anbar.

The source added that thes checkpoints ⁢were established following intelligence regarding criminal elements moving close to the Saudi borders.

He stated that the ‌number of Iraqi ⁣forces manning checkpoints near the Syrian‌ border has also risen to prevent terrorist infiltration ⁢into ​Iraqi territory.

The ‍source emphasized that these measures aim to combat​ ISIS movements in⁣ desert areas.
