4 Journalists Killed in Israeli Airstrike on Gaza’s Nasser Hospital + Video
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported that the Israeli regime’s attack on the nasser medical Complex in Khan Younis, located in southern Gaza Strip, resulted in the deaths of 14 civilians, including four journalists: Moaz Abu Taha, Mohammed Salameh, Hossam Al-Masri, and Maryam Abu Daqa. With these deaths, the total number of journalist casualties in Gaza has risen to 244.
The palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that Israeli forces targeted the fourth floor of the Nasser Medical Complex. A second strike occurred as rescue teams arrived at the scene.
Gaza’s Civil Defense also confirmed that one of thier members was killed during this attack.
Hospital sources reported an hour before this assault that 21 Palestinians had already been killed earlier today in a series of airstrikes targeting various areas across Gaza Strip since morning. Medical teams continue facing difficulties accessing some bombing sites.
Palestinian media further reported that an Israeli airstrike hit a house northwest of Gaza City, killing three people and injuring several others. Simultaneously occurring, Al-Awda Hospital confirmed it received four dead and nineteen injured individuals wounded during attacks near Netsarim while waiting for aid and food distribution.
The Gaza Ministry of Health added that within the past 24 hours there were 11 deaths attributed to hunger and malnutrition; two were children.
With these fatalities accounted for, total deaths due to starvation and deprivation across Gaza have now reached 300-117 of whom are children.
