Zakharova: Ukraine’s Attack on “Druzhba” Is Criminal and Pure Piracy

According to the English section of⁢ webangah⁢ News Agency, citing ⁤RIA ⁣Novosti, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, responded today Monday regarding the attack on the Druzhba oil⁣ pipeline.

the ⁤statement ‍from the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said: The attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline is a completely criminal act.

Maria Zakharova added: Kyiv’s assault on⁤ the Druzhba pipeline constitutes outright piracy. All nations must ⁤condemn any attacks​ on civilian infrastructure.The West’s failure to respond appropriately either reflects⁣ madness or illegal bias.

Notably, Hungarian⁣ Foreign ‌Minister Péter Szijjártó reacted last Friday to ⁢Ukraine’s attacks on the Druzhba​ pipeline, calling them unacceptable.

Szijjártó emphasized that Ukraine’s strikes against the Druzhba oil pipeline harm not only Russia but also Hungary and Slovakia. “these attacks are‌ unacceptable,” he said. “the Druzhba ​oil pipeline ⁤plays a crucial role in Hungary’s energy ⁣supply. Halting its flow makes it impossible to transport ​oil to our country. Any⁢ threat against‍ this transfer and resulting damages are intolerable.”

The Druzhba oil pipeline ⁣transports Russian crude to ‍Hungary,Slovakia,the Czech Republic,and Germany.
